Tuath Housing’s award-winning Development Team are responsible for the delivery of over 6,500 homes throughout all 31 local authorities in the Republic of Ireland. We were awarded “Best Housing Team of the Year” at the national CIH awards for our impressive delivery in 2017. Our aim is to provide long-term, safe, quality housing at best value whilst locally building sustainable communities. Collaboration is key towards this delivery through engagement of all relevant stakeholders such as the government, our funders, private developers, consultants and contractors. Developers recognise Tuath as a key player in their delivery model where we have organically grown strong relationships over the years.
Bronagh D’Arcy is Deputy CEO/& Director of New Business & Development at Tuath Housing. Having graduated with a degree in Housing from the University of Ulster at Magee, a Diploma in Management and Chartered Membership of the CIH she has worked both north & south of the border and has over 25 years’ experience in the sector. This experience is mainly in the delivery of new homes, while working in partnership with a range of stakeholders & through various procurement options. Bronagh has worked with Tuath for over 10 years and during this time has seen the Association grow to become one if Irelands largest Approved Housing Body.
Nick is Director of Construction and Property Services at Tuath and has an extensive background in development, property services and social housing with almost 30 years’ experience of working in construction and property, with nearly 25 of these years in roles relating specifically to the provision and management of social and affordable housing. Nick plays a leading role in the delivery of property services to the association’s housing stock, including building up investment profiles, managing planned and cyclical programmes as well as the delivery of a responsive repairs service.
Marie Mc Namara joined Tuath in 2011 and is the Development Manager responsible for delivering new build housing projects from concept to completion, nationally for the Association. Having graduated with a degree in Housing from the University of Ulster at Magee, a Diploma in Management and Chartered Membership of the CIH, she has worked both north & south of the border delivering social housing and has over 10 years’ experience in the sector. She has also previously worked in the private sector as a Residential Property Manager.
Martin joined Tuath in 2011 and is now the New Business Development Manager responsible for overseeing the sourcing and delivery of new homes nationally for the association. Martin holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Urban Planning and Property Development from the University of Ulster in Jordanstown (UUJ), a Diploma in Housing Studies and a Diploma in Management. He also became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in 2015.
Graduating with a Master of Architecture in 2013 from University College Dublin, Nicky has gained valuable experience studying and working around the world. In 2012 she undertook an Erasmus in Spain, at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and later worked as an Architectural Assistant on high end residential projects in Dublin, London and Sydney. Working in design has challenged Nicky to figure out solutions to complex problems that span further than the built environment. Nicky joined the Development Team in 2017 and uses her skills to co-ordinate and manage schemes from concept to completion.
Aileen is a Senior Development Officer, based in our Dublin Office and has been working in Tuath since March 2016. Aileen is a qualified ACCA accountant and has vast experience in all aspects of business. She has managed a number of successful retail and property businesses for many years prior to joining Tuath.
Phillip joined the Tuath Development Team in 2018 with a background in the construction sector as an Architectural Technologist. As a BSc (hons) graduate of Architectural Technology & Management Phillip holds excellent design, technical and project management skills. His previous experience whilst working for a long established Architectural Practice includes designing and leading multi-disciplinary design teams on large scale commercial and residential projects across the North and South of Ireland.
Jane has recently joined the New Business Development Team and is based in Tuath’s Head Office. Jane joined Tuath in January 2013 and worked in Housing Management for over 4 years, during which time she acquired a Diploma in Housing Studies. Jane holds a Masters in Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the National University of Ireland in Maynooth. She has previously worked for a multinational company in sales and marketing.
Barbara Fahy is a New Business Development Coordinator in our Galway office since May 2017. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Property Studies from GMIT, Masters in Regional and Urban Planning from UCD and is also a qualified financial advisor. With over 8 years’ experience in the property development sector; Barbara has worked in various roles such as Property Development Finance in Ulster Bank and a surveyor for Rooney Property Consultants.
Paul Braiden is a New Business Development Co-ordinator, based in the Dublin office. Paul joined the Tuath Team in June 2018. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Tuath, Paul was working in the UAE for a Master Real Estate Developer in operations. Paul also has a strong corporate background, having worked in operations roles for Kraft Foods in Dublin and is also a Certified Project Manager with an Honours degree in Social Science.
Stephen Coy is a Property Development Coordinator who joined Tuath in 2019. Stephen has an extensive background in construction & architecture, graduating from DIT in 2008 with a BSc in Architectural Technology and subsequently earning a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh. Stephen has amassed broad project management experience encompassing large commercial projects to mid-scale housing developments. He currently has a particular interest in Rapid & Prefabricated Construction Technology and its potential application in the delivery of Social Housing.
